Yeah your fine, there are literally garbage college teams where you'd probably be the top guy with an 18.xx 5k.
Yes, there are a few small NAIA schools that don't even have full rosters and "borrow" athletes from other sports to run at championship meets when a full team is required, but even most garbage teams have a few reasonably competitive
(15:30-16:30 km) runners.
*championship I meant Conference/Division championship not national. To remain active in the conference, they have to field a 5 person team that can be scored.
