First happy new year 2019 to all.
My resolution is to be able to run a 10k in 39:59 by 31st december 2019 :-D!
My best time in 2018 for a 10k was 42:43.
I am 45 years old, 5.6 feet for 136 lbs . I would like to be back between 120-128 lbs.
My training for the week: 31st december 2018 - 06th january => Total Mileage: 38 miles
Monday 31st december:OFF
Tuesday 1st january: 6,61 miles in 59min (Pace: 9'03/mile)
Wednesday 2nd january: OFF
Thursday 03rd january:
8x 800meters rest 1'30 - 3'44/3'54/3'45/3'43/3'52/3'47/3'48/3'41
400meters - 1'46
Friday 04th january: OFF
Saturday 5th january:
3x(12x100meters) Hills - Time between 25"-39"
Sunday 06th january: 12 miles in 2h02min (Pace: 10'10/mile)
Total Mileage for W01 2019: 38 miles
Next week I intend to run at least 5 times and I have a 5k tune up race in 03rd february.
I know there are a lot of grear runners with wonderful knowledge and experiences.
I will be thankful if I can benefit fromyour advices during this year to achieve my challenging target :-p!
