The only thing i can add of value is to make sure you recycle the bottle.
It's not bad, but it's not doing you any good either. You're getting some simple sugars, empty calories and caffeine. You can get caffeine from lots of sources, and you are better off consuming complex carbohydrates and a balanced diet for running.

It's not bad if you want a head start on diabetes, digestive disorders, heart disease, bone issues. But hey you're burning off the calories.

This is true. I routinely see people keel over dead right in the soda aisle at the local supermarket. It has gotten so bad, the emergency squad parks a unit right by the side door.
Come on, soda isn't even that bad. If you're healthy and in good shape otherwise it shouldn't be a problem.
I witnessed some chick at an Ultra a few years back fill her 100 oz camelbak bladder with Coke at an Aid station and she didn’t die or anything...
General rule of thumb.
In the mid nineties, with the introduction of Genetically modified organisms (GMO),
it was worse but I avoid sodas more so now. You're setting yourself up for
diabetes, cancer or any number of debilitating conditions.
For the record, new two guys both who drank a liter of diet cola and regular cola
one developed cancer and died, the other died of kidney failure.
So drink carefully.
