Hi all,
I'm currently a 20 yr old uni student who wants to run a sub 3 marathon before April next year. I'm a relatively casual runner in terms of milage (my garmin says average 14 miles per week). I've recently run 16.18 for 5K and I ran my first half earlier this year in 1:23:23 with relatively minimal training.
Is it essential to increase my weekly activity to 50/60+ miles per week in order to achieve a sub 3 goal? Or is it a realistic goal to add a long run every week into my schedule and increase to only 25-30 miles a week?
Appreciate any advice!!!
