He was?
Yes dude. I don't know what you can run but I'd say 29th in NCAAXC , 3:39 in the 1500, 3:58 Mile, and 7:52 in the 3k is pretty damn good for a sophomore in college. Super solid results man don't even start trying to troll
is matthew maton update?*
Allegedly injured and not training

Sorry, didn't mean to be a douche. Those are great results for a sophomore and my memory must be foggy because somehow I don't remember him doing that well.
He turned 22 in April so he is one year older than Fisher.
Mathew Maton is a cool dude. Spoke with him a few times.
Great hair too.
Is that the same guy that goes by The Merb on Twitter?

No, Maton is 24. He was a 20 year old freshman. He still has a couple of years of eligibility if he stays in school.
Did he get his degree, is he working, is he training, where is he living?

Did he give his teammates the 3rd degree? Is he working on distancing (hah!) himself from Oregon atheletes and coaches? Is he training to be a non-Oregon runner? Is he even living? Is he loving, learning, leering, launching, lunching, lying, leeching, lynching, landing, leaning, lecturing, listening, and on and on?
The lad will reemerge when the time is right for him. Hopefully, his health will be fine when the day comes, both mentally and physically.
Rumor has it that he and his sister are simply spending their time coaching younger brother Daniel to an eventual sub-4 high school mile.
He dated Alexa Efraimson too long. End of story.
He and Slagowski ran out of gas. It happens to many guys who peak make too quick of an improvement in high school.
His younger brother is going to UW to train with Andy Powell next year
I'm uncertain as to why the young Maton would go run for Andy. I would love to see what Andy would do at a mid major like Boise State or Southern Utah. Not sure this guy can really do it.
in the army now i heard
Serious question. wrote:

The elusive Letsrun.com apology, in its natural habitat
Any updates? Looks like the guy fell off the face of the earth.
Looks like he's been out in the woods for the last few years.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
