Say you've got a big cross race this weekend and it's gonna pour like a mofo. Is it worth it to wear a running cap to keep rain out of your eyes while racing or, in your experience, is it too bulky or uncomfortable? Thanks

Very worth it!
Yes. I recommend buying a really cheap one - that way if it does start bothering you for some reason, you can toss it.
Anybody have a recommended running hat/cap for rainy conditions you would recommend, or a regular hat/cap that works well for running?
Yuki Kawauchi wore the ASICS Mad Dash Cap during the Boston Marathon. If it's good enough for Yuki, it should be good enough for you.
I also recommend wearing clear glasses if you want to prevent rain from getting in your eyes.
Just get a free trucker promo hat from anywhere. Or go to Salvo and get one.

You abhorrent animal. Littering like a Mexican rapist. You deserve the chair.
This is even better and super light: Salomon Visor... You can flip it it up and down... Love running it with it when’s raining...

Yeah, I'm running a race @ LBC in PA this Saturday... looks like it's gonna pour... Good luck!
Race or not a hat in the rain is an absolute game changer. The pros do it, see Kipchoge et al in Rio (especially Rupp) and many other rainy marathons.
The hat keeps water off my face fairly well. I also find that having a cap on when it is a little cold or rainy/snowy makes me really laser focused on performing well.
I have two leftover from my rowing days, a JL Racing branded one and a Headsweats with my college teams logo. They are gross but continue to get the job done.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
