But, anyone who was alive in the mid-1950s, say as a teenager, will be pushing 80 soon. Pretty soon, no one will remember what it was like to eat in a 1950s style diner, people like me (aged 47) don't feel nostalgia for this era because it was 15-20 years before I was born. Will all these restaurants have to shut down? No one goes to Victorian-themed stuff anymore, you know. Potentially, I could feel nostalgic about 1950s-themed diners that existed after the 1950s, but that seems like a stretch.
