Anyone ever run the day after a vasectomy?? Even just a mile?? I got one scheduled and I am trying to keep a running streak alive....

I took a week off and was able to do 8 miles at that time with no effort. To run the day after seems a bit reckless for a streak. You risk having some serious discomfort or even delaying your healing to so do.
No.

I wouldn't do it. I was sore for weeks after mine, most likely exacerbated after loading a moving truck 8 days later.
I ran 3 miles the day after. I hadn't intended to, but was out for a walk and was curious what running would feel like. I was no more sore down there during and after that than otherwise during the day.
Ran every day in the week after without additional discomfort. For about the first month after I'd have a little tenderness when running down a steep hill. And I didn't screw up anything up, because this was almost 20 years ago, and my wife still hasn't gotten pregnant!
No vas a volver a correrte.
Go for it. Worst case your testicles swell up 5-10 times their normal size and your in rediculous pain. Epididymitis is so much fun.

They use a puncture method now you can be back to daily activities in a week no stitching anymore.
if the procedure goes well, you could probably jog home afterwards, but, it just seems dumb. Take a day off.

Or don't ask your doctor and call it plausible deniability!

Not me & I wouldn't recommend running the next day.
If you absolutely must, I'd suggest very, very tight compression shorts and an easy shuffle.
Would you like to see your nads swell to the size of grapefruits? I’m not kidding and have been there. 3 days off at least.

OP, here's your chance to have both literally and metaphorically huge balls.
No, bad idea. When it bleeds and they swell up your run streak will be missing a week.
Don't know about that. Maybe your wife could get one of those tiny plastic pieces called a IUD in her that according to the commercials are really effective and minimally evasive. And if you and your wife do want to have kids later on you can.
Looks like the streak will have to end....hopefully will start a new one about a week later....
