I have trained for a few marathons using Daniels. , I’m 42 yo male, 145 lbs, 305 pr.
Currently at 50 mpw, 6 days a week. The usual Daniels with 2 workouts per week and the rest easy. I’m limited with time due to family and work, but I do sometimes find some extra free hours during the week that I could use to get a second run in that day.
I realize doing long singles is better for marathons, and that is what I am currently doing. Is it worth going out for another run like 2 or 3 days per week, even if it’s just for 4 or 5 easy miles? Thank you in advance.
