Don't start running crazy at 2:05 pace. Project 1:06/1:05.xxx negative split. Cut the hair. Go to Berlin or Rotterdam case's NY course is too difficult, Chicago weather is unpredictable and Boston is not certified.
Or do another mid major marathon like Frankfurt, Amsterdam, Valencia, Fukuoka, Seoul, etc.

I knew Parker was reading these boards.
Dear Parker,
Here's the deal. I didn't read anything by anyone saying that they could coach better than Brad Hudson. If they did, I missed it.
The bottom line is, you went out way to fast and it bit you in the butt later on in the race. Don't blame others for what you did. Who do you think you are to do that? You're not God dude! Brad is not to blame, you were coached well, but you got sucked out too fast and now you're shifting the focus away from your own undoings. I don't agree with the cut the hair comment, that has zero to do with how you finished on Sunday. The race is over and now you're saying your group fell apart, so what? If you had felt good it wouldn't have mattered. You hung on gamely and did a decent job of not falling apart, but the results were not what you wanted. Well, next time go out in 1:06 EVEN, versus you're insane early pace that you never recovered from. Your Coach is outstanding and NOT the problem.
Respectfully,
A Letsrun Poster who never claimed he could Coach you to a sub 2:11 (you've already got that Coach)
