I need help making a training plan for myself as I really really want to get back into running. A couple of years ago I ran track and was able to run a 4:48 1600 and 2:14 800. But I just recently did a road race 5K (and barely broke 23 running a 22:58) and it was then I realized how badly I let myself go. I’ve gained 25 pounds since track ( 5’8 140-165) and I’ve lost a lot of speed and endurance and I was wondering how would I make a training plan or if I could pay a coach to make me a training plan? Because I could honestly only follow a written out plan.
