Regardless, now that he's helping coach at UW, (although it seems more likely that the team will serve as his training partners, given the "volunteer assistant coach" title) it seems important to move out there as soon as possible and acclimate to that setting.
International travel is hard on the body for a professional athelete. Why go all the way to Berlin when you can go to NY? Centro has nothing to prove this season, he's run his 3rd fastest time ever, won the US title, and London DL. It makes a lot of sense to cut his losses, race domestically, and gear up for the next season which will be incredibly difficult for any professional track athlete.
