No. He has a slight forward lean. His neck crosses the line at 3.10.502. I will give you a few thousands of a second.

I really enjoyed the race (the background is awe inspiring - was that snow on the mountains?). As per ‘showboating’, I quite enjoyed experiencing his joy, so guess it doesn’t bother me.
Props for running in the rain? Big deal.
As for showboating do we really need to stop this and make athletics even more boring?
52/53 sec 400m is pretty slow for 4:03 1500m race, should be sub 50 for the last lap , no excuses weather blah blah.
Feel free to provide the complete list of sub 50s in a 1500m.
The wind was blowing over all the tents and stuff covered lane one at one point.

As a former D1, i ran 49.2sec 400m in 4:01 1500m race. Also i have former D1 teammate who ran 49.6 last 400m in 4:05 race, maybe he'll chime in ,as he's a avid letsrun reader.

But could you ever run faster than a Norwegian high schooler? DIDN'T THINK SO.

Well above I was going to correct you and say 52.9, he went through 1100m in 3:10.6, but then I realised that would be a total ar$ehole thing to do ? so 53.0 is close enough.
Fair enough. Much more exact than my eyeball split.
you train hard every day, snow rain, wind sun, you have maybe 20 races, in which you're running very hard.
you are going to experience injury, ups and downs.
you win a race, and you're supposed to play a game like your not excited.
after all you can do what you want at the finish, whatever.
Given the weather?
This race was held in weather like a few dozen track and XC meets I had in high school and college. I loved watching it.
And the person who suggested rolling side views to save T&F? Agreed, that camera view was excellent. If only they had shown Jakob going to the lead after the bell. And agreed, this guy/family race! I'm officially a fan. These US guys who show up two or three times a year can bite me.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
