Normally I rock the Nike Lunarglide and sort of don't want to do Hoka because I'm not a suburban dad. Suggestions on something that's not Brooks?

Have you given thought to the Supernova ST? As a bigger guy, you might like the cushy Boost cushioning (I'm smaller, but need the cushioning because I'm a heavy striker). The only thing I don't love about them is the heel counter is soft in the middle so I fee like I'm coming out of the shoe when I get down to faster paced during workouts (although I ran at 5:30 pace in them on a treadmill today and didn't notice that happening this time).
See if runningwarehouse still has any Adidas Tempos on sale. They’re great.
I like Nike Structures too for easier days.
Moved from LunarGlide to Vomero.
Now using Adidas Ultraboost. Pricey, but very comfortable. Never liked Hokas.

Get the Adidas Ultra boost St, would I steer you wrong?
That is two votes for the STs.
I would second the Tempos as well, but I wonder if it is enough shoe for a bigger runner. I wear them for workouts these days - I have historically been a "train heavy, race light" guy who did his workouts in trainers, but because of the issue with the ST that I mentioned, I moved to doing most of my workouts in the Tempos. Basically, it is the Boston but with a stability feature and thus a ounce or two heavier. If you have wider feet, they might be a challenge for you (they, the Bostons and the Adios all have basically the same upper - I love it, but have a narrow foot, so it works for me.)
I like a lot of shoes that Saucony is pumping out these days. Saucony Liberty ISO is my suggestion. The Hurricane 4 now has a full Everun midsole. Don't know much about the Guide and Omni, but lots of people line the Guide.
I'm going to third the Tempos as well, been training in them this summer and they are great. They are cushioned enough for easy runs but light enough for workout days. They have been pretty durable as well, been doing some relatively high mileage weeks and usually my shoes start to rip on the sides at this point but these haven't yet.
I'm rotating Lunarglides and Saucony Guide 10s.
The Guides are excellent - got a good 400 miles out my first pair and just on to a second. A bit firmer than the Lunarglides but still they're much more responsive for tempo runs.
