He must have a better dealer than Alberto.
idk man there's literally no reason for suspicion other than the fact his athletes are running fast. just sucks that being fast is enough to raise questions in this sport
Nope still Alberto.
Rupp won the Pargue and Chicago Marathon and ran 2:06
Hasay ran 2:20
Yomif is destroying everything in sight, and repeated as indoor world champion
Murphy is back to a high level
Hassan's range is insane and is just getting better and better at 5000m. She will give Obiri a serious run next season.
Jerry is good. But I'm still not convinced that Houlihan will be able to medal with Dibaba, Kipyegon, Muir, Hassan and Semenya on the track, when it will counts.
I would honestly put the guy at NAZ Elite ahead of Jerry. They are killing it.
Agree that a Alberto is still on top but how the hell can you put NAZ above Jerry? NAZ doesn’t have anyone sniffing a medal and never will.

WE are talking about right now! read the thread. And Gwen causes his stock to go down.
Stephanie Bruce
Taylor
Tulimak ( wrong spelling) ...
They are all killing it right now.
They are killing it based on the teams previous results but if we are talking honesty their results don’t put them anywhere near the top runners at their events in the World.
Ignoring foreign runners, I'd say Jerry is the best American coach of American runners of all time.
Tegenkamp 12:58 and 4th a Worlds
Solinsky 26:59, 12:55
Jager 8:00, 13:02, Olympic Silver, World Bronze
Frerichs 9:00, World silver
Houlihan 3:57
Infeld, World Bronze
Cragg, 2:21, World Bronze
Shalane, NYC winner
What club has better credentials among its American runners?

Overall, historically, Yes it is Jerry. Sure. But Taylor's 2:24 after coming off Boston, and not really gassed, tells me she can at least get down to 2:21. And she is only 31, which is a puppy in marathon. Who knows what she is going to run in the next 2 or 3 years.
Out all the american women she has the most upside besides Hasay( of course due to age)...so I wouldn't be surprised if taylor snags an Olympic medal or World Championship before it is all said and done. - Cragg (jerry)snagged one.

Hmm, I don't know. Centro's outdoor and indoor gold medals, and rupp's silver and bronze in the olympics, plus 2;06 and major marathon win, punches that stuff in the face. Plus you throw in Rupp's 10000m AR, Shannon Rowbury's 2 bronze medals( WC indoor and Outdoor) and her track AR at 5000m and 1500m
Alberto still wins.
Also, if you add the number of USA in door and outdoor championships that all three have won, we are looking at over 20!
again Alberto!
No love for Coach JS?
M.A.G.A...
No way. Ahmed and Hill (13:25?!) crushed today. Hughes 8:25 in Monaco. Derrick 29:40 at peachtree. As many dud performances as good ones this year.
Jerry has also broken more top talent than other coaches.
German Fernandez
Sammy Silva
Chris Solinsky
Chris Derrick
Emily Infeld
Colleen Quigley
Lopez Lomong is coming back around but has been up and down under Jerry
Tegenkamp was often hurt under Jerry
Brent Vaughn
Andrew Bumbalough
Many of the above have shown flashes of greatness but lacked consistency over the long term with Jerry. He has a cookie cutter type of system. High volume and pretty intense. You either survive and thrive or break.
Jerry is way ahead of Rosario. Study up, son.
This weekend alone he had three athletes run times that NO OTHER AMERICAN EVER HAS. Has anyone else had a weekend like that before?

Yeah, the amount of runners that have failed under Jerry is crazy but a decent amount of failed under Alberto too.

I'll give you Centro's golds. Aside from that, Alberto's American achievements are mirrored by Jerry's across the board.
I tell you what I can’t believe at all is how Jerry is never accused of doping. Is he that much better of a coach that his athletes can routinely beat “known dopers”? The jumps of several in the group would be hysterically condemned if they were from say Morocco or even Salazar. Does Jerry get a pass because he is never photographed or does interviews?
Or are these Bowerman performances a result of the very best developed talent, big time contracts, training together, well paid coaches, facilities, Nike resources, altitude camps year-round, etc.?
I think Tinman is better.
