I just came off of the track season of a lifetime, where I ran one of the best 1600m times in America. I was diagnosed with a right tibial stress fracture, and have to take 6-8 full weeks off running. I was given the okay to swim and roadbike to stay in shape, although I have been having issues staying motivated to get out there and ride. What are some things I can do to stay motivated? Is it even worth it to try and cross train if I have to force myself to get out there? Should I just give myself a break from running altogether until I'm fully healed?
