I think since he is coached by Harry Mara, and Mara seems to have some sort of association with UCLA. As Zohri ran in alot of meets. Then UCLA seems like a logical choice for him. With his times will he get a full ride, and will he get on the starting team rather than just as a backup or reserve.
Congrats to your Swedish guy also. It was a good final race.
Schwartz has a PB of 10.09, so 10.19 and 10.22 is slightly off. Zohri peaked when it mattered. His next stint will be the Asian Games. Where the Indonesians have a power house 4x100, and i am calling they can win a Bronze Medal here. They ran 39.07 at last SEA Games without new guys Zohri and Dewe Mudiyasa (10.3 guy).
They also have Fadlin, Yaspi Bobi and Iswandi who are 10.3-10.4 guys. And there 7.98m Long Jumper is a backup at 10.5 also. Good job to coach Harry Mara (coach of World Record Holder Ashton Eaton) for really levelling up Indonesia Athletics in Sprints, Hurdles and Jumps in particular. The 4x100 clocked 39.09 the first time they added Zohri back in January. I think they can go 38.5 with him and Mudiyasa getting changes right.
Anyone know if he is entered for 200m? He ran 21.74 as a 16 year old then switched to 100m and ran 10.24. So i suspect if he runs a good curve he can go about 20.5? He didn't hit the standard for 200 so i guess no way he could have entered for World Juniors.
Technically his form is very similar to Mardi Lestari of Indonesia who finsihed 13th and made Semi FInals at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul( back then Olympics is 4 rounds)
