I said this the day she went Pro and I'll say it again. She will never run any thing significant.
Maybe it's possible but not for her in the path she took. The line of progress is never straight up but when you put that amount of pressure on yourself and every time you race expect to compete highly and win, it makes it hard to get through the rough patches. If she had gone to college she could have gotten through that with less eyes on her and less pressure on herself. She'd have a bad race but place highly. Ages 16-22 lots of things are going on with Females(but males too) so to try to always be at your absolute best it's tough.
The point of going Pro had to be to make teams, how many Olympic or World Champ teams has Cain or Efraimson made? 1?
They should have gone to college, they would both be running better if they went to college. Their careers wouldn't be over if they had went to college.
