I am also doing 400 training on top of this. The TTs are just a bit extra.

No, it isn't a good idea to do two 400m time trials per week over the summer to "maintain speed."

Oh okay, what about once every 1-2 weeks? It’s not like it’s the only thing I do to maintain speed, I also run 16-20x100 @ 400 speed with 45 sec recovery once a week.
Thing is, I want to keep/maintain my speed but also work on my 5k so im doing more milage atm.
