Background I am a 47 year old woman that has been running for 4 years. I am a run streaker, I run every single day and I love it! I have run numerous races mainly half marathons. My PR in the half is 1:54:02. I would love to (who wouldn't) qualify for Boston and for my age I need to run a 3:55 to BQ. I am signed up to run Marine Corps Marathon in the Fall, my first full marathon. I've been training for a 3:52 marathon (need to leave a buffer) using Hanson's Advanced Marathon which is 40-60 miles a week. I feel pretty good as I have always run that type of mileage and running every day has conditioned my body to get used to it. Do you think I have a shot? I know someone will ask, so I have been cleaning up my diet but I am petite to begin with at 5'2" 111 lbs.
