In three weeks, I will be running in a five mile road race in Boston, hoping to break 29 minutes. For the past five weeks, I've hit 36.3, 38.7, 42.8, 42.2, and 43 miles per week. My training has consisted of easy six/seven mile runs, a tempo every two weeks, and a long run of 11-12 miles (for the 40+ mile weeks). I'm looking for workouts I can incorporate into my training that will prepare me for this race. Also, if anyone has tips for strategy, that would help too.
