Just as you spoke. COL 2 POL 0. Falcao scores, what a finish!
Their fans are so loud. Probably the loudest of the tournament. Wow. I would hate to play them.

The Colombian blitzkreig has leveled Poland.
3-0
And yes, those fans are fantastic.
Wow! Another superb finish, this time by Quadrado! Colombia destroying Poland 3-0.

One of the best passes I have seen in quite some time. The angle of that pass was almost impossible.
And to think, James Rodriguez couldn't get on the pitch at Real Madrid. Zinidine refused to play him. Dude
couldn't even get garbage minutes.
yes - superb pass
I thought the striker might miss the shot but he finished it well
To think that Poland were seeded. They got a seemingly "easy" group, only to end up eliminated after their 2nd match.

How the heck was Poland seeded 6th in the world rankings? They did win their group in qualifying and got to the quarterfinals of Euro 2016, but not sure how that warrants a Top 10 world ranking. I guess it helped that Chile did not qualify, but I would think that at least Mexico or Uruguay would be in Pot 1 before Poland.
I want France to win and they have all the tools to do it. The key is which French team will show up and can their forwards, Mbappe, Giroud, Griezmann, produce. And luck will help also. But they have a good group who are at their peak and who will mostly also be around for the next World Cup. Kante and Pogba on the same team. Kylian Mbappe is 19 and has three more World Cups in him.
I'd like to see Japan go far as well. Great play against Colombia and Senegal so far.
Also, if I'm looking at the draw correctly, it looks like France could get Argentina, Iceland, or Nigeria for the round of 16. Importantly avoiding Croatia. Then in the quarter finals it could be Russia (Napoleon's revenge match) or the Group B runner up (maybe Portugal or Spain). Very doable. Then you have the yellow card reset and a semi-final with Brazil or Belgium. Then final with Germany. We'll see.
The draw is as good as can be for them.

Don't like France cuz its not French. Too much afro. What's the point of fielding a team that's not your nation?

Shut up, troll, and take your racism outside of the World Cup thread.
The point is to win. France actually sends out more of it's players to the African teams, if you look at the lineups of the Senegal and the North African teams. Players born/raised in France but not making the cut for the French team. So if anything, for example, you should say you don't want Senegal to win because they're too French.
Let's look at some big names from Germany's team: Boateng, Khedira, Gomez, Ozil. And from the last WC, Podolski.
So you don't like black/Arab people. Or you're just trolling and using the racism angle. Ok.
sends out more of *its players
bad grammar apostrophe :-(
If you're picking on France using this angle, then you can say the same thing about England, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. But like I said, these countries more often produce these players through their youth systems and export them to other countries when they can't make their teams. They aren't coming to these countries as teenagers, like for example Aron Jóhannsson for the USA. Born in USA, raised mostly in Iceland.

France is just sickly.
Germany? Germany is 90% Germans. Duh. Khedira and Boateng are not big names. They have the least impact on the team and are more of a liability. They're used because they have to fill a black and arab quota.
You do know that Gomez has a Germanic background right? As do many Spaniards. Podolski is close enough.
You aren’t making any sense. Basically all of France’s starters were born in France.
You SJWs really have warped sense of reality. Being born in France does not make you a Frenchman.
