So Veatch is on this list but not Hoare who beat him like a drum at big ten cross indoor and outdoor and just won NCAA 1500? What am i missing?
I will take the easy way out and add a few without deleting any.
Jordan
Lomong
Koipkoech
I believe that Soren would first have to be a college student at a D 1 school to be considered on a list of contenders for a top 10 NCAA finish. Just a small technicality!
Individuals:
McDonald, Wisconsin
Kiprop, Alabama
Day / Baxter, NAU

You guys are doing well with this one. I didn't even consider McDonald but if he is back and training with Hoare, they could be quite the duo. Klecker is a good pick also.
Gonna be a cold one this year

Surprised I haven't seen any one mention Joey Defoe yet. I hear he's been crushing Day and Baxter in sub tempos up at Buffalo Park in Flag.

Iowa State is the team to watch this year.
Top 3
Andrew Jordan ran a 13:44 after redshirting this year
Edwin Kurgat finished 7th in the NCAA 5k and seems to be doing well for them
Dan Curts has run a 13:45 and was the teams top finisher in the NCAA midwest regional last year
The return of Thomas Pollard and getting a solid 5th man will be the things that sway how they do this year
Now as for Wisconsin... 4th place is quite the jump but the men were solid in track this year
They have a solid top 3 in McDonald, Hoare, and Hardy
Snider, Eidenschink, and Miehe should be likely scorers
That being said, I'd be surprised to see them be ahead of BYU
