I need some help here.
I am working on a very important presentation and we want to be the leading choice for a potential client. My boss is asking me to use the phrase "premier solution" in the opening value statement, but he continues to change "premier solution" to "premiere solution."
I think I am correct in using "premier," but I want to clear it with all of you. I was under the impression that "premiere" was an opening or debut, while "premier" meant best-in-class.
I obviously do not want to be a big egghead know-it-all, but I also need to be 10000000% sure that I am right if I take this concern back to my boss and vocalize the need to change it back to "premier." Again, I have made the change a few times and he has changed it back, so the passive-aggressive battle needs to stop.
Thanks for the help.
