A very tough choice.

A field event star has never won it but should it not go to Keturah Orji or Maggie Ewen? They both won multiple titles outdoors. We think we are leaning to Orji. 2 outdoor titles, an indoor title plus a runnerup and so many titles over her career.

One thing I forgot about Maggie Ewen. I know the award isn't a career accomplishment award but it's hard to ignore certain things.

While she won the shot and discus this year, it must be remembered that she won the hammer title last year and also was the national leader in the hammer. Had she not fouled 3 times at the West regionals, she conceivably could have won 3 different events this year. Crazy. As it sands, this year she won the shot and discus outdoors and led the nation in 3 outdoor events.

Indoors she won the shot and was 4th in the weight.

It's not really that tough of a choice because it should be Orji or Ewen. They had the best years.

I appreciate the attempt to diversify and Ewen is a great athlete, I saw her throw at a meet last month.... but really...for our winner, do you see her name there? I do!!

You know who I mean. Because she is FaSSt. And HoTT. And FaSSSsst. I mean, fASSSSSsssssSSSStt!

It will be syd. The award will want to hitch their brand to her. Nike will be happier aswell.
