39
ok 39 sharp than
should I go for 3.53 per km pace???
You should be faster on race day, by how much depends on how hard you are able to go in time trials and on your endurance.
The fastest you ran is probably 15K/tempo/threshold pace (4:05/km) which converts into 39:50 on the 10K if you are endurant, a bit faster otherwise. I'd bet you were at half-marathon pace, but not slower, which yields a around 39:00 if you are endurant, a bit faster otherwise.
39:25 +/- 25 s.
A 20 lap trail 8K sounds slow. I think on a flat, fast course you can go sub-36:00
What is a ‘time trail’?
test-run
sub 36 is to much
i hope for sub 39
It depends on how you felt and what your workout:race profile is like. If you felt fine, then 39 is reasonable. If it was an actual trial at race effort and you're a workout warrior, then slower.
You ran at 40:50 pace.
So between 39 and 40:30.
