Long time lurker....I know this place is rough, so be kind please.
I am not a fast runner...I am 48 and started running when I was 40. I have mostly run in 4mm drop shoes....for not particular reason. Lately, I have noticed that I feel like I am "falling back" and have to really work on getting my head/chest in front of my body. I believe I have posterior pelvic tilt issues...which I am working on. However, I was thinking if I jumped to a higher drop shoe, it would help get my body in a better position. True?
Also...what are the signs you look for when deciding on what would be the proper drop for a runner? I do half marathons/marathons....but usually those marathons are part of a triathlon (yes....I am one of those people).
Any guidance (apart from quitting triathlon) is appreciated!
