So I am a 16 year-old sophomore and I have always felt like I have little to no leg speed. I have only races below the 800 once (4x400 after the 1600 and 800 on a windy day) but I feel like my time starting at the 1600 and below, don't match up at all with my 3k/3200 times (although I feel my 1600 isn't as bad as my times).
I have run 58, 2:07, 4:35, 9:01/9:40 (3k/3200). I feel like my 400 and 800 times should be lower but I can never seem to get going fast enough to really run a good time. Are those times out of line given my 3k/3200? I just fear that I am not teaching my potential due to a lack of speed or is this just all in my head?
(also I will be racing the 1600 and 3200 at the first invite if the season on Friday, so those times should drop fairly well as they were both previously ran on about 30 mpw with no workouts)
