Great interview. I respect Flanagan a lot. It sounds like the conditions did a number on her.

Flanagan seems satisfied with her effort. She left it all out on the course.
But unsatisfied with how the conditions didn't allow her to maximize her conditioning to compete as well as she could have under different conditions.
She seems genuinely happy for Linden.
I do find it interesting though that Flanagan kind of makes it like she is genetically inferior in those conditions. It somehow gives her some consolidation. Flanagan said Linden is made for the Boston course and it isn't about trying hard to run well in those conditions. It is either something you have or don't have.
