If this was truly his best buildup ever and he dropped out around 30k because the cold air triggered his asthma ... why not?

I don't what comes easier making fun of Rupp or feeling sorry for him.
No way. He quit at the 20th mile I believe...too much of a long run to go run london in a week.
Rupp should race Berlin. He's a great time trailer and it's fast.
He'll probably run Chicago...

Agree and agree.
Hasay to London.
Rupp back to Salazar's Lab.
Hasay can easily hop over the pond. She is single and doesn't need Salazar hovering over her all the time.
Rupp has to be checked in the Salazar Lab first. He may run another marathon soon, but not London.

A 20 miler at that pace? He'll be fully recovered in three days.

Only if he flies back to Portland first to receive proper medical treatment. Then has has to travel to London from there. So, not a chance; it is too much flying time. Hasay can stay in Boston and fly over to London. She won't need special lab treatment.
Umm...the registration deadline has passed.

If London turned down any 2 hour 20 runner - on a technicality, they are crackers!
But, if they down Jordan Hasay, then they are triple crackers!
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
