Is it considered weird to have no interest in a wife and kids at age 32+?

I paid off my student loan debt by the time I was 26. My career is more stable than most people (the place that I work for didn't get rid of anyone during the '09 recession, though we did have hiring and salary freezes).

As far as social media goes, I swore off Facebook/Timesuck in 2015 and don't use Tinder often.

same but slightly younger. I sometimes think I have some type of personality disorder. It's definitely super uncommon. Unless you're out there absolutely crushing it I bet some portion of people assume you're gay because it's the only box they can conceive of you fitting into.

Probably a function of being highly intelligent and can only relate to same. I would not give it much thought. The worse situation is the numerous unhappy relationships, with kids harmed to boot.

Care to elaborate on what the increasingly miserable nature of western women is? Can’t find a solution without knowing what the problem is.

Marriage and kids is one thing - not wanting those is fine, I get it.

But you say no serious relationships - so you’ve never dated someone for more than a year? How has that not happened, do you date people?

Children are not for everyone. Romantic love is. Hate to sound cheesy but don’t give up on this. It’s a barometer of your will to live.

The right time for me was in my 40's. Have two wonderfully delightful children now.

Thinking back, I would have raised them differently had i been younger. My hubby and I are so happy the way things turned out, each thinking neither one of us would be married with children.

Take you time, no rush.

Met my wife at 39 (and across the continent), got married three years later. Clever woman, hooray! Down-to-earth, too.

Life is good.

It's only a problem if you already have a wife and kids.

I live in DC and being single in your 30s is the normal. It depends on where you live.
