Thanks for the encouragement everyone!
Stone: Nice tempo and run in the blizzard. Another 12" is forecasted this Tuesday.
Coach Jeff: Good luck this weekend!
Runningforfun: I'm dealing with some PF as well. Mine only bothers me after sleeping so waking up in the middle of the night to check on the baby is rough. It's probably time I start icing and massaging with a golf ball.
PutoMiudo: Congrats on the PR.
Pewow: Another great week of strength and speed sessions.
Outside: Great progression runs. I'm impressed with your daily paces.
Smoove: Very nice 15k! I saw a photo from this weekend of Ritz running his long run on a rolling dirt road. That must be where you do your long runs too.
Slo-twitch: Lots of cool alternation workouts. I'll have to try some of those after this half.
Stat: Lots of great workouts, 30/40, miles, and you really let it rip on the last half of that ladder. Nice! Yes the nor-easter was probably a blessing in disguise. It forced me to truly recovery last week and helped me workout well on Friday without running myself into the ground.
RRR: That is a brutal course profile. Congrats on the win and crushing all those beers!
Jewbacca: Big 5 days. Nice long run and casual 1:10 half all in the same week.
angryjohnny: Very nice mileage, 3x4800, and LR. Re: alternations, they really force me to learn how to relax while running at GP or just slower than GP. My the end of a good alternation session, I usually feel much more efficient at each of the paces.
