I'm training with the ASICS GT-2000 3 running shoe (it's just about impossible to get now as that's a few models in the past but I bought six or seven pairs last year). Anyway, searching for it now, it was included in an article titled "10 Best Running Shoes For Overpronation".
In addition to that, I wear full length orthotics as well.
I'd never ever even thought about wearing a faster shoe to improve my racing but after reading about the Vaporfly (if they can even be bought in time - my marathon is on June 2) and other shoes like Adidas' Boost, is this something I should strongly consider doing?
Or does the fact that I have both a very stable shoe and orthotics suggest I shouldn't mess around with any of this?
