Njcaa nationals

Considering my first year at Allen Coach DeGrados wife wanted to take a break from the medical field and managed a law office on top of the fact her grandfather was a judge and partner in a big law firm in KC. I rember her and her mom getting to go watch some capital murder case trial in KC one of their family members was the defense attorney than add his Italian heritage in the mix...I would say yes knowing his wife who is very intelligent odds are DeGrado probably had an attorney before he even got back to Kansas.

Glad this is anonymous because Coach Degrado would kill me if he knew I told this story but it's funny as hell. While in holding they were asking each why they were in there and it got brought up if his assault was domestic and he said something along the lines of hell no my wife would kill me literally, she's Irish so she's already got that crazy part plus shes in the medical field. I wouldn't stand a chance. They were all like damn you've got a ride or die b!tch that's what's up or something along those lines. He tells it better but after reading the post above. You've got an Italian and Irish family keeping quiet that can't be good. He doesn't say much to us details wise just makes fun of himself to lighten the mood but we know hes super pissed it's gone this far and just waiting.

That's laughable at best. Dee can not win without Denny only started winning big time when Denny came over. Dee cant win the right way. Does not develop runners just purchases them from across the pond. That's going to be his legacy.

Has anybody heard what happened to Degrado. I seen him at WSU for a bit, nowhere to be found at Southwestern which does not mean much but we had our region championship and he was not at that. A few of us coaches hear hes finished which I hope not. It wasnt the same without him around. Come on Vince we miss you man just say your sorry and all will be forgiven.

one of our office ladies showed us a newspaper article that she has a online subscription to so she can follow her granddaughter....DeGrado has been spotted. This forum had the story three months ago. Article listed all possible possible violations on not being consistent with his schools bylaws, kjcaa, njcaa, and state. Which over hearing us talk our HR popped off they forgot Kansas Board of Regent and by the timeline they did this all before his do process so took his 5th and 14th amendments which is why Kansas Board of Regent has their policy so schools dont mess up and do that very thing...oh and article confirmed DeGrado defiently lawyered up! Region 6 may finally get just how dirty they truly are exposed....I think DeGrado is once again going to shock this Region and not backing down from the corruption of those truly running Region 6 and their sidekicks.

Woooowwww. Well played Degrado. The set of balls on you if seriously took all that and kept pushing through till the end. We all knew you had to be lawyered up because you kept WAY to quiet through this whole thing. I have an all new respect for you with all of this and it was obvious you coached up your kids till the very end. The outdoor meet you guys had was unreal considering what he went through. Does this mean what I think it's going to mean? How can a school let alone organizations do that to another person? Hope to see you at next weeks coaching meeting! Damn!

This is priceless!! I can not stand 70% of the track coaches in Region six a bunch of old men who gossip and stab eachother and anyone else close in the back...wonder how many of them and their ADs wish they would not of taken part in so much of the defimation and slander that took place...I think DeGrado has more than enough proof he suffered and others without all the facts decided they could ruin someone to bad they didnt mind their own bussiness wonder just who all is going to end up in court over this...way to many emails got forwarded and way to many ADs thought they had the right to segregate....should of left it between two adult men where it started and let them keep their business between them.

Why 70%, such an odd number. Well even but whose counting. Seen the article myself, that is messed up the school did that to him. It sounds like the pres is dirty also. I'm sure their Ad is the puppet to the president. Wouldn't be surprised president throws Ad under the bus. That seems to be the standard protocol for those types of situation. Hope degrado makes it out alive after this one.

everything in that article had March dates...Its June I dont think DeGrado is the one who needs to worry about coming out alive that crazy school took his constitutional rights away and even put on paper they did....still dont like you DeGrado but you have all of my respect. So many of us witnessed or new what was going on and didnt have the balls to say or do anything to make sure our sport and region did right instead we put our heads in the sand once again. DeGrado I hope you take down everyone in your school and region who had a hand in this its gone on way to long but they forgot just how big of a set of balls you have.

the joke is how college presidents and athletic directors could do this to another person if any of this is true. why do this its only a track coach. he should have been fired the moment he came back from that meet. i bet he would like for that to happen now. he needs to start applying elsewhere. screw that school.

Is he suing the school? Getting suspended what is going on lol. A lot of vagueness just trying to follow the situation? What's the likelihood he's back as coach next year or suspended for it?

I ran into him just a couple of weeks ago he did not seem upset with the school said nothing but good things about it. Talked about a new complex the school is putting in. I heard about the article but did not want to pay to actually view it but it’s confusing because DeGrado was his normal hyper upbeat self trying to do three things at once self so maybe the article only told part of a story or people just repeated part of it. One thing is for sure and that’s everyone seems to of gone silent and doesn’t seem to want to get caught commenting.

I spoke to him Friday just said he was going through the administrative stuff which has been interesting. He did confirm the sanctions and said the school is behind him on getting the sanctions reversed. But didnt give much else. I know he wasnt at our coaches meeting and when I asked he said he had a "recruit". I still think there is way more going on then we know. Really would love to read that article though.

This is nothing compared to the next biggest college sports scandalusky. Prison time coming....

Has this scumbag been fired yet? Hope region 6 makes an example out of ton him

This whole situation has repeatedly shocked everyone from the start but region 6 after a non-collegial ruling which only NJCAA can rule on breaks the bylaws so they can make an example out of a coach and a school 3-4 months after decides to than fire him...they have messed up enough dont think even they are that stupid thats all old news anyway. Some of us want to know what the subpoenas, slandering rumors, newspapers article mean for what DeGrado has planned as nothing is being disclosed. Also you can call DeGrado a jerk, loud, rough around the edges but scumbag totally uncalled for. Love or hate him opinions aside straight stats his resume proves he is one of if not the best distance junior college coaches in all of NJCAA and was the youngest coach to ever run the board winning everything for both men and womens in the same year...you can hate on him but his resume says ahole or not the man can coach and win.
