5k road race tomorrow (Saturday) around 5pm and forecasted weather conditions are 80 degrees (with a high of 85 in the day), 60% humidity, with 8mph winds. Will be mostly Sunny at the start here in south Florida. It's been unusually warmer as of the past two weeks as well.
I'm expecting to PR to some degree despite the not so ideal weather, but probably not as well as well as I would hope for. In fact, this race will be very similar conditions to a morning July race I did last summer.
Anyways, what's your approach to an evening race (food, hydration, any morning running)?
