It used to bother me when I would get beat by someone in my AG that was smaller, more fit and probably came from a running background and competed well in HS or College however any more, I just do my best. That's all I can ask for. I'm improving and at a rate I never thought possible. I'll never be elite or even sub-elite but if I can continue to improve and do things like beat other Clydesdale's (technically I'm not over 200lbs anymore), that's a huge accomplishment to me. I am signed up in the Clydesdale division at PHX half and I'm really hoping to win it. These kinds of things keep my fire lit.
You guys are so fast.. holy cow. I am not used to seeing people running 6:xx on their easy runs. Definitely feeling motivated after reading peoples training logs in here.
