You can never take it away from them now.
You can never take it away from them now.
The girl’s side was better and deeper than Nike but the boys side was definitely worse.
How many NXN Champions have been Olympians or NCAA Division I Champions?
Okay, thanks.

Please look at winners from past years and compare - thanks :)
Both fields were much stronger than the team meet a week ago.
So if you want to say Lane and Jacobs won that baby meet too that is fine with me.
Awesome running by both of them wrote:

Are you kidding? FL was a joke?
What place did Jacobs get at the nationals the week before? Then he flew back to the midwest and then back again to the west coast and won the JV nats easily.

Trolling aside, NXN was arguably more successful at attracting the top HS talent.

I look forward to FL every year, and I am sad to say that I agree with you this time. RIP tradition, but look at those Nike $ amirite?
Let’s look at how last year’s champs did at NCAAs:
Casey Clinger beat Reed Brown by like half a mile so NXN>FL
Katie Rainsberger was 16th and Weini Kelati was 7th so FL>NXN (it was an off day for Katie though)
But looking at today and last week, both Katelyn Hart and Dylan Jacobs performed better at FL than they did at NXN. Dylan got like 4th at NXN but won FL, and Hart was 3rd at NXN and 2nd at FL. This year, NXN was clearly more competitive by all metrics.

???
Scudamore who did not qualify out of NXR came 13th at FL
Harrison who did not qualify out of NXR came 14th at FL...
Others?
Oh yes, Kreft did not qualify for NXN and came 12th.

Clearly National B meet.
Basically, if you are a good runner but you don't make it to NXN or think that you won't make it, then you go to FL.
rainsberger and kelati were two years ago........
look at last five years of fl & nxn champs for a better perspective

I'll gladly take Nike's money if they want to get in touch with me. You hear that, Nike? I'm for hire.
