Opportunity is everywhere, just because you think it's a waste doesn't mean it is.... but who knows... I've never heard of it either, looks like a brand new D2 program....

It just seems like a lot of people want to get their foot in the door to get a full time job coaching. Starting out by volunteering at a school that nobody has heard of isn’t going to get them to the next step. It may get them some of these $1,500 to $4,000 part-time gigs that seem to be popping up more and more frequently, but maybe not even that. So, why sacrifice a year of trying to scrape by on no salary, most likely expected to be there all day, etc. at a place nobody has heard of? Go ahead and “dabble” in coaching at a place like that, but don’t expect to launch a lucrative career from it.
Volunteer at a program with some sort of established coaching crew where they can mentor you and have quality athletes and a history of successes that can actually help you in the long run.
Coaches looking to hire assistants will put that resume straight into the “no” pile if #1 they’ve never heard of the school and #2 they don’t have a history of success there that you can essentially pad your resume with.
Nothing against this school mentioned, but more so for the person who has a “buddy” that gave him the insider info on the big volunteer opportunities to look out for at the school nobody has heard of.
Why did McGregor leave Samford? And, where is he headed to next?
Will he just maintain unemployment until he gets another coaching job out of pure pride and refusal to leave this career field?
And as arrogant and outspoken as Pat tends to be, why does it seem that his network of supporters is as large as Starkiller base? I've heard the guy throw some major directors' names around that are older, with many NCAA titles under their belts, that he claims to be "friends" with.

Oh man, just you wait.
You have some insider info on this job? Some big name coach taking this sprints/hurdles position?
Yep. One big name is going to ASU. Another familiar ex pro will be announced soon. The rest are new bloods.
Bluetrich is by far the best coach at ASU! He should be next Head Coach without a doubt there!
Stephen Saenz from ULM to Central Michigan
Will ASU make the incoming coach Director in waiting or promote from within and give it to Blutreich? My guess is whoever they bring in will want to bring their people on board considering it’s a program that hasn’t produced in recent years outside of Ewen.

If they were going to give the director job to the best coach, they wouldn't have given it to the guy who has barely ever coached his own training group before. Obviously Blutreich doesn't want it, or they aren't giving it to him. I'd expect they'll hire the next sprint coach with the director job in mind. Judging from his intstagram post, that guy might be Dwight Philips.

Fired the week before MAC
Any word on Texas A&M replacement for Francique?
Who’s Tennessee hiring?
Early on the talk was Khadevis Robinson, but haven’t seen anything since. He’d be a great hire for the mid d group!

Dress code violation...scraggly beard. He has a ginger discrimination suit against Central Michigan in the works now.

Treatment of athletes. They revolted.

Khadevis won’t leave the comfy confines of Ohio St. again. If he couldn’t handle Shaver( LSU) no way he makes it at A&M with Pat Henry.

Who else will Elliott be adding to his staff. Will he and wife coach the sprints group ?
TSR just updated their transfers page today. Only men, but a nice aggregate for all of the coaching and athlete movement
