Is anyone from adidas on this board? If not, you just wasted your time even posting that drivel.
BRING BACK THE BOSTON CLASSIC WHILE YOU'RE AT IT
Agreed, the new Supernova is a joke. I don't know how many times i've seen on the Running shoe group on facebook that people want the Glide 6/7/8 back. Adidas really need to listen here.

Yes, there was a thread about a year ago with a constant back-and-forth with one of their product guys. Trust me, the shoe companies read these boards. What is better than free customer feedback?
Oh, and adidas, definitely go back to the old Supernova Glide. The new one is garbage.

I do kind of remember the thread, but I feel like it was a lot longer than a year (or I've just been on this god-forsaken site wayyyyy too long..lol).
Agree! The Supernova is garbage and the ultra boost is way too much money. $180 are you joking?
While I don't hate the new supernova, and I disagree with your setiment about adidas not having other good shoes (Boston boost is good, takumi sen is good, adios are good, etc)...
The supernova 6-8's were the GOAT distance shoes. Nothing has ever come close in my eyes.
I liked the Glide 8 but haven't tried the new Supernova...what changed and why is it bad?
I prefer a heavier training shoe. Boston felt cheap, adios too stiff and takumi is a race shoe.
i guess im in the minority here, but i actually like the new Supernova better than the Glide 8. i don't mind the extra Boost cushioning and extra weight. I just use them on easy runs anyway. also I consistently get significantly less miles out of a pair of Glide 8s than the Supernova, Adios, Boston Boost, or Energy Boost.
New Supernova is too soft and nebulous. I use it on slow recovery days but its not a real training shoe like the Glide. Please bring it back.
I have the Supernovas. I do like the shoe because it is soft and I run on the roads a lot. I have noticed that after 150 miles the shoe is starting to feel kind of sloppy to me. I'd suggest they bring the Glides back also. After this pair of SuperNovas I will probably be changing to a different brand. Although I like the shoe I can not say it will stop me from shopping for something better.

The new Supernova doesn´t serve any purpose, since it´s very similar to both Energy Boost and Ultra Boost. Now, there´s a hole in the product line between Supernova and Boston.

i do agree with this... it's pretty interchangeable with Energy Boost at this point
And the Ultra Boost is way too hot for warm climate running. Plus, it's too soft and too expensive.
Like...what's the softness compared to something like Hokas? I've only tried the Clifton 3. Never tried Ultra Boosts...but sounds like maybe people are complaining about the existence of a cheaper Ultra Boost?
