If it was just rain and wind, my guess is the races would have gone on as scheduled, but a thunderstorm would have messed thing up, especially at a location like Tom Sawyer Park, which has very little cover.
Why would you link someone's tweet when you could have simply stated the brief update yourself in a short sentence?
Al Gore warned us about this years ago. It's a shame we didn't listen when there was still time to do something about it.
