Long story short, got injured wasn't able to run for about 9 weeks. I did keep some fitness staying on the bike during that time off. Four weeks ago started running again, im back up to 30 miles per week today. My fitness tanked and trying to get it back.
Looked online for ideas and most is obvious for patience, but I did come across doing 3 min hill repeats to help boost pre injury fitness.
I don't care if im not 100% back to where I left off from but I'd like to get to 80/90% and just wait for the rest to return on it's own over time.
So will these hill repeats be a magic ingredient to get me where I was in a short time or am I just gonna beat myself up for mimimal gains and high risk for injury?
