I am two weeks out from my marathon. Im daling with some viral crap. Not feeling well enough to run. Got in my last long run of 24 miles on Saturday. Haven’t felt well since. Tried a few short runs but just not feeling right. Marathon is two weeks away. Wondering if just resting is better than running. But paranoid my legs will not be fresh.
I was sick the weekend before my last long run and missed my workouts that week. So I haven’t done my speed work in what seems like forever. I felt fine prior to and during the long run but it seems to have made me feel worse again.
Anyone have experience not running much during their taper?
