There is a market for everything but for energy assets it isn't on LR.
Alt-fuels is broad and could mean CNG, algae, hydrogen, ethanol....
Even not knowing the details I agree that PE probably won't be your market. If it fits in an industry that isn't your bread-and-butter, join linked-in groups in that industry and even if the first ones aren't right you will eventually find the ones where people are buying and selling, or at least discussing your type of asset.
