Not sure what to make of how I’ve been feeling lately. Freshman in college XC, been feeling crappy for about two weeks now. My main symptoms are...
#1- Poor workouts, legs get incredibly tired, breathing becomes heavy, just overall fatigued.
#2- Lots of nagging pains. Nothing major just little pains popping up all over. Some days I get up just so sore that lifting my legs up to walk seems like a ton of work.
#3- Poor sleeping. I can fall asleep but I feel like I’m not getting a deep sleep in.
#4-Mentally off- races are going terrible, DNC’d twice this year & 1 bad race. When the going gets tough I feel like I just get so mentally hazed and fatigued and immediately clock out. Never dropped out of a race until this season.
I’ve jumped from 45-50mpw to 70 over this summer and into the season. Is this overtraining and if so how do I come back from it? Also sounds a lot like anemia, has anyone experienced iron defiency before and does this sound like a potential case?
