For comparison, Curtis Beach, arguably the best runner who does other events, has done 1:47, 25', 6'9" The OP could be a very good decathlete, if he can handle hurdles and PV. Of course he would have to bulk up and slow his distance times.

There's a reason I didn't put shot put in there. I throw about 45 feet. Also, my sprint times aren't that good either. My best times are by far my distance times, especially my 1600 (I ran it senior year of HS, while my college 1500 is 3:52) and I am also fortunate enough to have a father who competed in jumping events and passed on his jumping strength. Also, 4.7 is a great 40 yard and is about an OL time.
