Sheesh. You only have one thought? And it's dumb as dirt! Poor you.

Funny to me that on your messageboard overrun with trolls you would be complaining about a professional troll.

Here's a novel thought. Let's stop firing folks over the opinions they express on social media or in private! Whether they are Curt Schilling or Jemele Hill.
The White House should not be concerned with these types of hiring/firing decisions of a private corporation. I would think they more important things to worry about, but there are quite a few sensitive Steves and Sallys in the White House.
Also, corporations care about their public image, and if prominent employees are saying things in public that affect their public image, they might fire them. Kinda makes sense.

No, they're not.

This is the biggest problem. Corporations really shouldn't be firing people for things that do not happen at work and are not part of an employee's duties.
Of course we are so wedded to at-will employment and it would take actual workplace protections and organizing to change that narrative and we couldn't actually have that...
Every single event or show on ESPN can be improved with the mute button. I don't think they get that about their network.
Jemele Hill has written through the eye of "everything is racist" for the last decade, and has somehow Forrest Gump'd her way into a television show with another person and they're both terrible. Two drunk idiots at the local bar provide better coherent commentary.
I'm not going to argue whether she should be fired or not for sharing her thoughts, but the White House should certainly not be making statements about who a company should fire or not.
That is surely a violation of the first amendment.
The government cannot supress free speech.
If ESPN wants to do it, that's their call.
If other people and media outlets want to call for her firing, that's their right.
This is no place for the White House to be commenting on.
Because ESPN is a left leaning organization that hasn't been adversely materially impacted by Hill's comments.
What else do you want to know?

Oh, and while we are on the topic of fireable offenses, is there any way we could fire Darth Cheeto for all the similarly inaccurate and incendiery things he has said? Why hasn't that occurred yet?
You can, dumas. Write your congressman and have him impeached. Simple as that.

Why do you pay so much attention to what they say and write if you think they are so terrible?
Umm ... how bout No, Scott wrote:

Actually, it's not that easy. Please read the Constitution.
And my name isn't Scott.

YES!
ESPN is a leftist advocacy network. Why would they punish someone for helping their own agenda. Least surprising "news" I've read all day.

Please provide one quote where Trump said anything that could be construed as something akin to what a White Supremist might say.
somethings akin...
"The only kind of people I want counting my money are little short guys that wear yamakas every day."
"Our great African-American President hasn't exactly had a positive impact on the thugs who are so happily and openly destroying Baltimore!"
"A well-educated black has a tremendous advantage over a well-educated white in terms of the job market. I think sometimes a black may think they don't have an advantage or this and that…I've said on one occasion, even about myself, if I were starting off today, I would love to be a well-educated black, because I believe they do have an actual advantage."

I guess she's not getting canned as she's ripping Trump for not being inclusive. So it's not really a double standard.
When has Trump not been inclusive? Obama used to say "them" referring to republicans. Hillary too. Trump has never said anything like that.
Of course, Trump is very inclusive. Look how he condemned violence from "many sides" in Charottesville. How much more inclusive can he get?
Surely, she has not been punished because every word that she said was true.
Some sources on Trump's racism:

For instance, found guilty with his father of racist housing discrimination, refused to condemn white supremacist organizations and David Duke (because he said he knows nothing about them and how can you condemn what you don't know?).

But Mr. Trump promised that he would run the government like business. He is a businessman, not a politician. He is just practicing what he promised. What's wrong with that?
