If not in a protected class Jemele Hill would have been long gone. Other ESPN people have been canned for much worse.
Thoughts?

You can't be fired for telling the truth.
Her complexion .

My thought is that you are a racist white supremacist, just like your president.

Please provide one quote where Trump said anything that could be construed as something akin to what a White Supremist might say.

Now hold on a second, buster. I mentioned that other ESPN workers have been dismissed for much less.
Other ESPN people have been canned for much worse.
Umm, this seems obvious... ?

Action speak louder than words.
When Schilling was fired,ESPN said they were " an inclusive company,â€.
I guess she's not getting canned as she's ripping Trump for not being inclusive. So it's not really a double standard.

When has Trump not been inclusive? Obama used to say "them" referring to republicans. Hillary too. Trump has never said anything like that.

If I openly call you a right wing nutjob will I get IP banned?
All kidding aside, Jemele Hill did make some inflammatory statements, and even if we are not aware of it at the moment she probably is facing internal company sanctions. Schilling was warned multiple times to stop being political and he didn't.

Not only is ESPN being slammed for not firing Hill — it’s being criticised by people on the other side for scolding her at all. A quick scan of the Twitter hashtag #StandWithJemele shows that plenty of people feel that she did nothing wrong and that the network should be supporting her instead of distancing itself.
ESPN used to be a network dominated by white, male voices. In recent years, it has made a concerted effort to offer a bigger variety of voices and appearances that more people can relate to.
ESPN did move to the left. But that move was not an effort to be on the left as much as it was to be in the middle and not so far on the right. But, of course, for a few people on the right, all they see is ESPN is moving away from them.
Jemele Hill is truly awful. Don't understand what ESPN gets out of having her, Stephen A., and Skip Bayless on the air. Haven't watched that garbage since they started featuring these buffoons.
Yeah, they could fire a lot for incompetence, but it wouldn't help the diversity numbers.

Bayless does not work for ESPN.
Because there is a good argument that he is a white supremacist, actually. She might have read the article I linked below. But not a good move on her part, though.
What part of her being political do you not get? ESPN is just a leftist group that chooses their perimeters based on THEIR northeast liberal bias despite their audience being 72% conservative.

You will never see your hypocrisy.
Try again. ESPN is owned by Disney, one of the most conservative companies in existence.
