These kinds of things aren't supposed to happen to 80-year-olds. He's practically a newborn! So sad!

Pathology pending? Yup. 80 yo with a history of melanoma? Yup. Was a hemorrhagic lesion removed? Yup.

.....McCain will be revealed to have metastatic melanoma to his brain later this week or early next week. Not to worry though, with newer targeted therapies (BRAF inhibitors) and/or immunotherapy (PDL-1 inhibitors and other checkpoint inhibitors) he should do well like Jimmy Carter.

Hopefully, he's got good insurance because those immunotherapies aren't cheap, we're talking 6-figure bills / month! Oh wait, he's got the congressional plan that covers everything! Lucky him.

Hopefully, he makes a full recovery so he can get back to the work of the Senate, which right now involves things like making sure the rest of the US population with metastatic melanoma can't get these therapies and making sure that all pregnant women don't abort those premature / sick / syndromic babies with severe medical conditions so that congress can turn around and make sure that the care those babies need once delivered is no longer covered by insurance! All life is sacred.....until we get the bill....then their parents are leeches sucking the healthcare system dry!!!!
