Typically when I see people forefoot strike they hit on the outside edge and roll in to the mid foot and stabilize. It seems like this would make you far more likely to roll your ankle.
thoughts? Do heal strikers have the same odds?

I mid-foot strike and never roll my ankle. If I heel-struck I probably would.
I can't argue with your logic but from experience I think it's the other way. I've never seen a person sprain an ankle landing on their forefoot.
I don't think so. When I role my ankles its because its for 2 reasons 1. the ankle is weakened from previous injury and 2. the shoes are too soft and neither protects nor supports a mid-forefoot striker.
