There is an "Excessive Heat Warning".
That sounds totally miserable. 101 Friday, and 100 Saturday.

Yeah, but it's a dry heat.
Winning times:
800: 1:46
1500: 3:47
5000: 14:32
10000: 28:34
I don't know why Sacramento gets chosen as a host. Guaranteed hot weather, half empty stands, not a destination to draw more fans.
Why Sacramento..especially with Worlds in London?
It runs a high risk of
a) picking runners with the wrong skill set
b) over-depleting qualifiers (and non) and sending them in the wrong direction as they prepare for Worlds
So it's cooled off a bit?

Excremento
108 predicted for today. It is already 89 degrees at 9:30 a.m. Sprints should be very fast the other days but the distance events should be held early in the morning at road race time, because low temps are predicted from 66 today now to 60 the other days. After sunset will still be hot, but running in the shade does help a lot.
